Q. How long will I have access?
A. For single-student learning, you'll get a month which is plenty of time to take the course.
For multiple student learning, you'll get an entire year. Your purchase allows you and your students access for one year from the first of the month following your purchase.
Q. Can I study whenever I want? Can I study from more than one computer?
A. Yes. One great benefit of online study is that it is accessible at any time, and from any computer that has an internet connection.
Q. How many people can study at once?
A. For single-student learning, only one person can sign in.
For multiple student learning, our management software allows you to create unlimited student accounts with an active account capacity of 10. So, if you need to educate more than just yourself, you can! Fit your classroom to your needs.
It is important to note that the Package is not for 10 students, but the account capacity for 10 simultaneous students.
Q. What is ‘account capacity’?
A. Account capacity refers to the number of students that you can have active simultaneously. Once the capacity is reached, you will need to deactivate a student (who has finished their assigned courses) to activate another.
For single-student account, your account capacity is one.
For multiple student account, the standard account capacity for your standard purchase is 10, beside yourself or your designated manager. Because bcpLearning provides the flexibility of account capacity rather than just a flat number of students, there is no restriction on how many people you can teach in a given year.
Q. I have purchased a multiple-student Account. What if I’ve already created 10 students, and need to teach more?
A. First, make sure that all your students are active. If some of your existing students have completed their study, you can deactivate them to make room for the new student. But if you need to teach more than 10 students simultaneously, upgrades are reasonably priced. We provide capacity upgrades in quantities of 10, 20 and 50. Again, we recommend that you make sure that you have exceeded your course capacity before purchasing a capacity upgrade.
Q. How often are courses added?
A. We are constantly working to add more and more valuable content to bcpLearning, which means your Package will continue to grow in value the longer you hold it. We typically add at least 6-10 new courses a year.
Q. Are these courses updated?
A. Yes. Our authors are continually scanning our content to keep it up-to-date with changing regulations and trends.
Q. You’ve added a new course, and I’m not seeing it. Why not?
A. If you see a notification on our site that a course has been added, and you aren’t seeing it, it is because you have not purchased an account (such as the full Package) that includes that course.
If you have a Package that does include the new course, and you aren’t seeing it yet, it may not have been assigned to you. Ask your administrator to assign it.
Q. What is automatic renewal?
A. When optimally used, bcpLearning is will be a continual and ongoing staff training solution.
Automatic renewal is how we keep your multiple-student account active seamlessly. We’ll bill you for your upcoming deactivation before your account is due, to give you plenty of time to process payment (or to opt out, if you so choose).
Q. What if I don’t want to renew?
A. We think that you’ll want to use bcpLearning for many years to come. However, there is no risk of paying charges for a service you no longer need. There are two easy ways to opt out of renewal.
1. You can reply to the notification email we send you before billing. Your account will be deactivated at the end of the year, and you won’t be billed.
2. If you have not opted out after receiving your notification, you can call us if you receive a bill but no longer need the service. Your bill will be cancelled immediately and your account will be deactivated at the end of the year.
Q. What will happen to my account if I don’t renew, but later change my mind?
A. No problem. Access to your account will be deactivated if you opt out of renewal, but your account information will be stored for at least one year after deactivation. If you choose to renew after deactivation, your account will be restored.
